With focus on technology development, targeting specifically TRL2 technology concept through to TRL6 demonstration of technology in a relevant environment, RDES has the capability to identify and support it's customers in accelerating their products routes to market.  This includes defining and delivering a technology roadmap and identifying and managing key risks.  Flexibility and ability to adapt to change suits the typically uncertain environment of early stage technology development to ensure successful outcomes.

Capable  to undertake engineering design work with a focus on mechanical and structural systems.  3D solid modeling and 2D technical drawing to defined standards as well as FEA and motion analysis.  Experience working within a manufacturing environment means designs have consideration for cost effective production and DFM/DFA and VA/VE analysis can be carried out.  Good design records and documenting of design calculations provide justification of the basis on which a design is based to ensure the solutions meet customer requirements.

Capable to manage both short and multiyear technology development engineering programmes, RDES can control all aspects of programme management.  RDES has capability to plan, identify and coordinate the resources to deliver successful programme outcomes to the customers agreed budget and timescale.
