Capable  to undertake engineering design work with a focus on mechanical and structural systems.  3D solid modeling and 2D technical drawing to defined standards as well as FEA and motion analysis.  Experience working within a manufacturing environment means designs have consideration for cost effective production and DFM/DFA and VA/VE analysis can be carried out.  Good design records and documenting of design calculations provide justification of the basis on which a design is based to ensure the solutions meet customer requirements.
